Barbecued prawns
Prawns are marinated in lemon, garlic and parsley for 30 minutes, then, at that point, grilled. Serve these delicious prawns as a starter or primary. This marinade additionally functions admirably with scallops.
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 700g fresh king prawns, peeled and deveined

In an enormous, glass bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, garlic and dark pepper. Season with squashed chillies, whenever wanted. Add prawns, and throw to cover. Marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Preheat grill for high warmth. String prawns onto sticks, penetrating once close to the tail and once close to the head. Dispose of any leftover marinade.
Gently oil cooking grate. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes for every side, or until misty.
Lemon and ginger barbecued prawns
These speared prawns with a trace of sesame, lemon and new ginger are awesome for engaging. Do whatever it takes not to marinade for any more than 2 hours prior to grilling.
- 1 dessertspoon sesame oil
- 100ml (4 fl oz) olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- 2 tablespoons grated fresh root ginger
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- handful fresh coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika

- 1.25kg (3 lb) fresh king prawns, peeled and deveined
In a blender or food processor, measure the olive oil, sesame oil, lemon juice, onion, garlic, ginger, coriander, paprika, salt and pepper until smooth. Save a modest quantity for seasoning. Empty the leftover combination into a dish, add prawns, and mix to cover. Cover, and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Preheat grill for medium warmth. String prawns onto sticks, puncturing once close to the tail and once close to the head. Dispose of marinade.

Spicy Barbecued Prawns
So fast and easy to prepare, these prawns are great barbecued. And, weather not permitting, they work great under the grill, too.
- 1 large clove garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon coarse sea salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 dessertspoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 wedges lemon, for garnish
- 1kg (2 1/4 lb) fresh large prawns, peeled and deveined
Preheat grill for medium warmth.
In a huge bowl, squash the garlic with the salt. Blend in cayenne pepper and paprika, and afterward mix in olive oil and lemon juice to frame a glue. Add the prawns and throw until equally covered.
Softly oil cooking grate. Cook prawns for 2 to 3 minutes for every side, or until dark. Move to a serving dish, decorate with lemon wedges, and serve.
