Chocolate Cake

Entirely versatile chocolate cake formula - it is made without eggs it actually comes out! This cake is a speedy and simple fix for birthday events, gatherings or school fetes.

Ingredients required to prepare Chocolate Cake

225ml boiling water
170g cooking margarine
2 eggs
300g sugar
110ml milk
8 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
250g plain flour
2 teaspoons bicarbonate of soda
1 drop vanilla extract
1 teaspoon salt
1 drop almond extract

How to prepare the recipe in simple steps

Mix all fixings, finally adding 225ml bubbling water. 

Empty cake blend into 2 lubed and gently floured cake tins. 

Prepare at 180 C/Gas 4 until a stick embedded in focal point of cake confesses all (roughly 30 minutes). 

Cool for 10 minutes on a wire rack, then, at that point, add strawberry jam to one half and Nutella or chocolate spread to the next half and set up the cake. Adorn as you like.
